What's their most important conversation?
The Topic of Conversation
What is the most important conversation of your life?
Social media, technology and a sense of social complacency have all altered the nature of our conversations. Before we reach a complete disconnect, Every Conversation Counts is your opportunity to be reminded of the power of truly listening and communicating in more than 140 characters.
Every Conversation Counts documents memorable conversations that some of the world’s most fascinating figures have engaged in to achieve success and more importantly, their true sense of purpose. Through interviews conducted by Television Host Riaz Meghji, this website will look at how creative conversations can reinvent yourself, your brand and your business. Above all, readers will be reminded that they can have a game changing conversation of their own, at any given moment.
This site will share insights from leaders, celebrities, athletes and philanthropists all with one common thread – conversations that count. We have them everyday, but how much are we actually invested in each and every one?
Riaz Meghji has been Host of Breakfast Television Vancouver for almost ten years covering topics in current affairs, philanthropy, entertainment, sports and business.
Following several successful hosting stints with MTV Canada, CTV News, the Toronto International Film Festival and most recently Breakfast Television Vancouver on City Television, Riaz has realized a simple, candid conversation can carry a profound effect.
As a Keynote Speaker and Emcee currently represented by the Lavin Agency, Meghji has also presented his concept of Every Conversation Counts on the TEDx stage delivering a personalized talk at TEDxSFU and currently hosts TEDxVancouver.
Raised in Delta, BC, Meghji, graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Simon Fraser University and has always had a love of inspiring and engaging audiences. Additionally, world travel is a passion as Riaz has spent time in over fifteen countries, all while staying active with cycling and circuit training.
You can watch Riaz every morning from 6am – 9am on Breakfast Television Vancouver.
Off camera, Meghji is a thriving philanthropist, having co-founded 1Karma, a registered partnership that actively seeks charitable programs with a specific need on either a local or international level and supports them by fundraising and creating an awareness of their initiatives.
The partnership has supported various groups in five years having successfully raised $100,000 for Camp Goodtimes and Covenant House Vancouver. Riaz is also a proud supporter of the Aga Khan Foundation Canada.
